Absolutely Art was just awarded the NICHE Magazine 2011 Top Retailer Award for Local or Regional Craft Gallery. Winners were announced in a ceremony at the Buyers Market of American Craft on July 12, 2011, in Baltimore, Maryland. This is the industry’s highest honor for a retailer of American and Canadian craft.

November 2010, Gallery Manager Meghan Blake-Horst was considered on of the "32 People You Should Know" in Madison, accordnig to Madison Magazine. Meghan was listed as one of three "Retail Rockstars" in the section of the article written by Shayna Miller. It is also fun to note that Meghan's Mom, Sarah Whelan, was also one of the "32 People You Should Know"!

Shirts that Supply Program at Absolutely Art
Please help us supply area schools and other organizations that offer art opportunities to children. $5 of each tee-shirt sold will go directly in to our "Shirts that Supply" fund. Once this fund reaches $50 a local group or school will be contacted and asked for their Wish list (in some cases this could be basic tools). Absolutely Art will then purchase $50 worth of these supplies and deliver them to the group. Wear your shirt with pride knowing you have helped foster art education for our next generation!
