Artists work will not be seen without an appointment.

Please submit an email to the gallery at submissions@absolutelyartllc.com to express your interest to meet with Meghan Blake-Horst, Gallery Manager and buyer. Please include a statement about you and your work. You may attach images of your work, your website, Etsy site, blog or other site where I can view your work.

If you do not have access to the web, submit a letter and images on a CD of your work. Please write “Artist Submission” and the date on the outside of the envelope. If you would like the CD back please include a self-addressed and stamped envelope.

Absolutely Art purchases directly from artists at wholesale prices for our owned inventory. We purchase at wholesale prices. For example, your retail price is what you are selling to the public; we would purchase the work at half the price you sell to the public or on sites like Etsy.

If your work fits the style and price point we are currently looking to fill and there is appropriate space for the work, it will be purchased for the gallery. The body of work may be more appropriate for a show that will be run on consignment.

Absolutely Art also has opportunities for single or group shows. We rotate the work on one wall in the gallery and the work hung in Café Zoma every month with a featured artist or group. On occasion we have featured more than two artists at a time. This arrangement is on a consignment basis where the artist receives 60% of the sale and the gallery receives 40% of the sale. The show is up for the entire month with an opening reception the first Friday of each month.

Your email or submission packet will be reviewed and you will be contacted if your work fits an area we are trying to fill. If you have not heard back from us in 6 months or have a new body of work, please feel free to re-submit your information.

If an appointment is scheduled, please bring a wide variety of your work to show during your appointment. The actual objects are best but a portfolio or CD would also be appropriate. Purchases are often made on the spot, although orders may be placed if necessary. Appointments may take up to 1 hour.
